Terms and Conditions

community groups to provide Festival with “two” volunteers per day
Hours of operation: for community booths are July 1st –July 4th 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Setup: daily from 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM
1. Community booths should open during the full days that they have indicated on their application and must not tear down, pack away or remove any part of a display until after closing time.
2. Participants must supply their own display, tents, tables and chairs,
3. Tents and exhibits must meet local fire department standards and requirements.
4. Participants are required to maintain staff in their exhibits at all times during Festival hours.
5. Booth identification and Participant credentials must be visible at all times.
6. NO pets allowed.
7. Storage trailers may be utilized within the booth subject to the approval of the Friendship Festival.
8. Participant parking will be designated prior to the Friendship Festival.
9. Vehicles must be off site daily by 10:00 AM
10. Dependent on the size of the crowd, limited vehicle access may be allowed on the restricted roadways at the close of each day at the sole discretion of the Friendship Festival.
11. Participants are responsible for keeping their exhibit clean. All refuse shall be placed in garbage containers located throughout the Festival grounds.
12. Groups are restricted to individually assigned booth and pre-approved activities only. Displays must be within booth boundaries and not extend to the roadway, other booth areas or open areas.
13. The Participant shall not assign, sublet or apportion all or part of the rights and space granted herein without written permission from the Friendship Festival.
14. The Friendship Festival will undertake to ensure reasonable security during closing hours of the show, but will not be liable for loss or damage due to fire, flood, theft, act of God or anything beyond the control of the Friendship Festival, its agents, employees or representatives.
15. Without limiting Friendship Festival’s contractual or other legal rights and remedies, Friendship Festival reserves the right to immediately close any exhibit and bar from the festival grounds any and all persons associated with such exhibit where it appears, to the Friendship Festival, that any person associated with the exhibit has engaged, is engaging, or is about to engage in a violation of one or more of these terms and conditions as they may be amended from time to time, or any violation the Friendship Festival, In its absolute discretion, considers serious enough to warrant such action for the good of the Festival, Neither Friendship Festival nor any of its employees, servants or agents shall be liable for damages or any other legal relief or compensation to any participant affected by steps taken in accordance with this or any other term or condition.
